Uniquely Irish Gifts : Irish Jewelry

One of my very favorite souvenirs from Ireland is Irish jewelry.

When you wear a piece of jewelry from Ireland, you are instantly taken back to where you were when you purchased it and the feeling you had upon seeing it. Irish jewelry is easy to bring home – no need to buy another suitcase! And unique pieces always lead to questions – which lets you share those magical Ireland vacation memories.

Irish Jewelry as Gifts

Irish jewelry also makes a great gift.  Whether the recipient has been to Ireland or just has a love for all things Irish, you just can’t go wrong with a simple Claddagh ring or a stunning pendant. Or begin a tradition this year by giving a Tara’s Diary Charm Bracelet (something that is on my personal wish list!)

That is a beautiful Claddagh ring.  That was the one and only souvenir that my daughter searched for while in Ireland.  She found a beautiful one with her birthstone in the middle.

If I won this ring, I would treasure it forever and wear it every day. The Claddagh has always had a special meaning for me. It represents the three things that I value the most- love, loyalty, and friendship. It also represents a spiritual connection I feel to the Celtic people. I used to have a Claddagh ring from Ireland, but it got stolen. Being on a fixed income, I can never afford luxuries like jewelry…but if I won this ring, I’d have something to symbolize the three most important values that exist in my very being. I would LOVE this ring. Thank you guys for this contest. I hope I win, but even if I don’t, it’s still awesome. ^_^

If I won I would wear it to symbolize my three daughters and pass it down to one of them. A claddagh ring has always been on my wish list.

  7. AmyKlein says

It reminds me of my dear friend, Donna O’Hanlon, who passed away last August and who was never without a piece of claddagh jewelry on.

I would have a dilemma to solve: keep it or give it to my daughter. Maybe I’ll just will it to my daughter. :)

  9. AlexiaJanieEvans says

I would actually give this to my niece who is getting married Sept. 2014 as a gift.  She did Irish Dance from the time she was a little girl till now.  Her Mom passed away, my sister in law, in 2011.  I’m more of a big sister to her since she is an only child and we talk about many things together.  It’s a beautiful ring and I know that she would love it.

If I won this ring I’d give it to my grandmother, who gave me a claddagh ring went she went to Ireland with her sisters

  12. AnnaNicAmhlaigh says

I would likely keep it for myself as I lost a lot of weight and all my
rings are 3 or 4 sizes too big now, which makes me sad because they
were special gifts. then hand it down to my daughter.
