My Brenna's a pretty fortunate girl. She's been to Ireland twice in her 6 years- we are hoping to make it a third time this year! Each time she has visited our route has led to Bunratty Castle. At age 1 it was the swings that made her happiest…

At age 3 1/2 climbing the narrow, twisting stone steps all the way to the battlements put a big smile on her face…

  1. what is it about this place that brought you there twice?

The second time was my Mother’s first trip to Ireland- as well as my youngest daughter’s. Bunratty is a chance to tour a real castle- and it’s open year-round!- as well as the grounds, which are great for kids.

    Ireland’s a very child-friendly country, isn’t it…

It really is. Everyone was so incredibly kind to our girls.

we’ve been there – bunratty is a GREAT place for kids – a real way to see how people lived! 🙂 what fun photos!

I’ve never been to that enchanting country, but it’s high on my list.

Please let me know if you need any recommendations! I am hoping we can return this fall!
