I spent most of January thinking about what I want from Ireland with Kids (the easy part) then redesigning and making helpful additions to the site (the more difficult and time consuming part). I'm thrilled with what has been completed- and what will be coming soon! Let me show you around the improved Ireland With Kids!
Ireland With Kids – Begin Your Ireland Adventure
I adore my new front page. It has some easy “quick nav” buttons for featured articles, the new “Photo of the Day” feature and Ireland Travel resources. You'll also find a quick link to my book of Irish recipes and links to my Ireland boards on Pinterest.
The second nav bar takes you behind the scenes where you'll find the blog and simple search features to help you easily find past posts. Categories are organized by topics such as attractions, lodging and region, with subsections to help narrow your search.
To help with Ireland vacation planning I've got an incredible page almost ready to launch. It features a map of Ireland with “clickable” counties. From there you will be taken to a county specific page where attractions, lodgings and tips for that specific county will be organized. I still have a bit of work to do on this page, but I hope to debut it next week!
I also have a “Share Your Story“ page. This is where you can send an image, tip or tale of Ireland to me and I will publish it here, on Ireland with Kids. I'm excited to hear stories and see photos- so send them in! I'll be sure to credit you and link wherever you want me to.
I'm also considering adding an “Ireland Travel FAQ” page. I would love to have reader questions or your best travel tip for Ireland. You can use the handy contact form on the “Contact/ Share Your Story” page for this, too!
I hope you'll take a look around the site and tell me what you think. And don't forget- “Photo of the Day” begins February 1! Send me yours!
It looks great well done!
