Hore Abbey taken from the Rock of Cashel, Tipperary. Ireland travel tips | Ireland vacation |IrelandFamilyVacations.com
Hore Abbey framed by gravestones at the Rock of Cashel.
This 13th century abbey was the last pre-Reformation Cistercian abbey in Ireland. This is the only Cistercian monastery in Ireland with the cloister positioned to the north of the abbey, possibly due to the presence of the nearby Rock of Cashel.
