00:48
What is My Next Adventure?

Mike set up this business in 2015 to offer guided kayaking tours of the River Shannon and Lough Derg out of Killaloe in County Clare.

1:43
Are there a lot of Beginners on your Tours?

Yes, a lot of clients are beginners. We use very stable boats to make it easier and more enjoyable for everyone.

2:34
What route do you take clients on?

We follow a 218-year-old disused canal that stretches 2 miles and runs parallel to and, eventually, crosses over into the River Shannon. The trip takes about 2-2.5 hours.

Jody and her daughters did the Family Tour, which is designed for kids as young as 2-years-old.

7:22
Multi-Day Kayaking Tours:

They are in the process of expanding tours offered that will allow overnight stays in a variety of lodging- from a castle to B&Bs to campsites, catering to clients of all types.

14:30
What else can you do in the Killough area?

  • Paddle boarding
  • Tour boats
  • Historic Trail
  • Visit the Lake
  • Visit the Holy Island

19:49
What are 3 places in Ireland you shouldn’t miss?

  • Cobh, County Cork, well known as the last port of the Titanic.
  • Connemara, County Galway, for it’s rugged beauty and ‘old Irish’ culture. Clifden is the ‘unofficial capital’ of the region.
  • County Donegal, one of Ireland’s most remote areas. Incredible cliff views and beaches.
