Ireland Travel Tip : Help When You Need It from the ITAS

This site generates income via partnerships with carefully selected travel brands and/ or purchases made through links to them. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. See why this is important.

It's highly unlikely you will ever need this information…  but luck always favors the prepared.

The Irish Tourist Assistance Service (ITAS) is a specialist service that provides support and assistance to tourists who are victimized while visiting Ireland. The service is free and confidential.

Staff and volunteers speak a wide variety of languages and provide prompt assistance.

The ITAS website includes helpful safety tips, testimonials, and contact information.

As I said, it is highly unlikely you will ever need this information. In over 10 years of travel in Ireland I have never been robbed or attacked – and I often travel alone or with my young daughters. But it never hurts to be prepared.
