The Irish Tourist Assistance Service (ITAS) is a specialist service that provides support and assistance to tourists who are victimized while visiting Ireland. The service is free and confidential.
Staff and volunteers speak a wide variety of languages and provide prompt assistance.

As I said, it is highly unlikely you will ever need this information. In over 15 years of travel in Ireland I have never been robbed or attacked – and I often travel alone or with my young daughters. But it never hurts to be prepared.
