Alright, let's rewind the clock to November 2002. Picture this: a wide-eyed adventurer (that's me!) landing in Shannon with nothing but a map, a book of B&Bs, and a whole lot of excitement. Yup, I was flying solo, and let me tell you, it was a trip of a lifetime.
From the moment I set foot on Irish soil, I was hooked. The landscapes, the people, the sheer magic of it all—it was like stepping into a fairytale. And those B&B hosts? Absolute gems. They didn't just give me a place to rest my head; they became my personal tour guides, showering me with tips and recommendations that made my trip unforgettable.
Fast forward a few years, add in a dash of marriage and motherhood, and voilà—family trips to Ireland became our thing. Sure, traveling with kids had its challenges, but the memories we made were priceless. And that's when it hit me: I had stories to share, tips to give, and a whole lot of love for Ireland to spread.
I was already working as a freelance travel writer, specializing in family travel, when I decided to niche down further.
